I came of age in the '80s and this list shows that. I stumbled across this song the other day and decided it had to be put on this list. It does sort of illustrate where I was at for much of this decade. Since this song was not particularly well known, it made me feel cool and sophisticated that I knew it and many did not. That it has a very '80s ish sound, that made me feel in tune with the world around me. The political statements in the song, naive, unsophisticated, simplistic, and loud, those too fit the "me" of that age. Therefore I share this as part of the 20 day music challenge.
